CITY OF GRANT,  WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION 2000-03

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRANT AUTHORIZING ELECTIONS IN THE
YEAR 2000 TO TAKE PLACE AT THE LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE RISEN CHRIST.

WHEREAS, elections within the City of Grant have historically occurred at the Grant City Hall; and,

WHEREAS, as the City has grown, it has become apparent that the City Hall logistically may not be the best place
for all elections to be held; and,

WHEREAS, the Lutheran Church of the Risen Christ, located within the City of Grant, has graciously offered to
volunteer their facilities for holding elections; and,

WHEREAS, elections in the year 2000 will take place both for a primary election and a general election.

NOW THEREFORE. based upon the foregoing, the following resolution was duly made, seconded and approved:

1 . That the primary and general elections in the year 2000 shall be conducted at the Lutheran Church of the Risen
Christ located at 9050 60th Street North in the City of Grant, Washington County, Minnesota.

WHEREUPON, a vote being taken upon the motion, said motion was passed by the City Council of the City of
Grant, Washington County, Minnesota, and this Resolution was approved as to form and substance at the City
Council meeting on June 6, 2000.
